Slat Table

2007

The design of this low (coffee) table embraces many eco-design principles:

-The table is constructed without the use of fasteners or glue. The 65 precision fitted slats are strung together and held in place with an aircraft cable – designed for deconstruction

-It is made from raw galvanized steel tubing and “reclaimed” pine; finished with waterbased stain

-No unnecessary waste was created as the dimensions and proportions of final model were driven by the stock sizes of the materials available

-and of course…it ships flat!
